– GDPR IN SERBIA –

NEW PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT STANDARDS

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new European Union regulation that, in addition to its members, obliges all other countries that process personal data of EU citizens in any way. It entered into force on May 25, 2018, while the implementation of the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection began on August 22, 2019. The law provides for a number of significant innovations in the field of personal data protection.

In order to deepen the existing but also to acquire new knowledge, International Law Watch, in cooperation with the law firm Mavrenski, organizes 10 trainings for companies that process personal data in their business.

The training will allow companies to adapt their business to the new standards of personal data protection, become an example of modern business and respect for high standards in force in the European Union, thus avoiding heavy fines.

International Law Watch will provide free three-hour training for ten companies that apply to participate at the following email address: office@internationallawwatch.com

Companies will be selected based on the exposure criteria of the new Law and GDPR.

The application deadline is October 31, 2019.
